Slime can arrive sticky from temperature differences or melting during shipping. To help, your order will come with a little bag of borax. Please don't add it directly to the slime, mix it into one cup of warm water and add a few drops at a time to fix an underactivated/sticky slime! (Clear slimes may naturally be tacky and may not be underactivated) Alternatively, you could mix some activator into your hands and massage it into the slime.

An overactivated slime can be stiff and hard to stretch :( Adding a little bit of vegetable glycerin can help to soften your slime immediately. You can also place the sealed jar into warm water (do not put water in the slime) to melt it down, or just let it sit for a few days to settle.

Always make sure to wash hands before and after playing with slime :) Clean hands are best, otherwise it can introduce oils and debris into your slime that can make it go bad faster. It's also best to play on a clean surface as well. To make sure it lasts as long as possible, 10-15 minutes of play at a time is recommended to ensure it doesn't dry out quickly.
